I use this reading textbook for my fifth grader that I'm homeschooling this year. As a reading textbook, it presents stories for the child to read that are culturally diverse, and some of them very inspiring. At the end of each story, there are questions aimed at testing the child's reading comprenhension, and some activities aimed at improving a child's reading and writing skills.

Used these in public school, so like them for homeschool. A variety of activities and reading exercises. My homeschool student loved this book and learned a lot of content as well as reading skills.
