I can't tell you how many teachers have recognized it and wished it was still available. I used it myself as a child in kindergarten, and we kept the completed set of books in their slip cover for years. I was lucky to get hold of a new set for my children to use. Both of my children have enjoyed them and experienced the feeling of success that I had remembered completing each one. Both children were reading confidently before 5 years old with a combination of this program and the Bob Books.Each letterbook has the child: -trace the letter with their figure -find words in a picture that start with that sound -practice saying the letter sound -write the capital and lowercase letters using broken line paper -identify pictures that start with the new letter sound -write letters to identify starting, middle or ending sounds (mixed with...
