This review is from: Open Court Reading: Anthology (Hardcover) Having this book at home has been a TREMENDOUS help this year!! Now, my daughter can leave her schoolbook at school and still complete her homework. She doesn't have to lug it home and back. And it was an unbelievable price (bought it used for around $7 and it's in perfect condition)!! I wish her other schoolbooks were this easy to find and this affordable. I also wish I'd done this years ago!! This review is from: Open Court Reading: Anthology (Hardcover) This is a prescribed text for my 5th grader. The stories are varied and so is the difficulty level. Sport stories are interesting and there is a lot of non-fiction reading. Some concepts seem advanced and a little difficult to follow but it is good for introducing new vocabulary and explaining basic concepts of advanced topics. Overall good choice of stories and authors.
